**ACTIVE & PASSIVE, Jan. 18th, 2013**



Use the verb with the base form of consume in two different sentences. Sentence 1 should be in the active voice; sentence 2 should reword the sentence to the passive voice.

ZEINAB:Yes, but can you check subject-verb agreement in the in sentence #2?
ALEXEY: You have the active and passive voice correct, but you have a problem with your use of the noun "carrot";-)

RUFUS: The passive sentence is a problem because "food" is a non-count noun;-)
ALEXEY:You need to check a noun-verb agreement issue;-)
