Last week, when I was driving to the mall my car nearly disappeared into a pothole. I had hoped, after I had called the city's administration and reported the problem, that it would be fixed guickly. However, the pothole still needs to be avoided.

DIANE: You've made a good start, but there are several things to think about: writing a complete sentence, the passive voice, plurals, and punctuation;-)
PEGGY: That's a great start--the only thing to check is punctuation;-)
ALEXEY: You're on the right track--now check an extra word (2nd clause) and punctuation;-)

DIANE:A lot better, but you need to think about "my car was almost disappearing", and "has been fixed". The punctuation is much better, but there is still a missing comma;-)
GEORGE:Very close--there's a punctuation error. Can you fix it?
MIRELA:The only thing to fix is the spelling!
KATHERINE: A good start--now think about punctuation and a place where you need a modal verb rather than a straight verb tense;-)

MARINA:Almost there--think about capitalization and the awkward phrasing of 'was near to disappearing".
PEGGY:You found that last comma:-))
