If the sentence is singular, change it to the plural; if it is plural, change it to the singular.

The view from my window is quite extraordinary. It is one of the lake with a mountain in the background. On the shore of the lake, I can see a deer grazing. The wind rustles through a tree and a leaf falls to the ground.
