*VOCABULARY*

Vocabulary building is important for both reading comprehension and writing. 

Use the following two words in one sentence (note the parts of speech).

despair (verb) and prognosis (noun).

Brad, I see examples of prognosis used in this context, so your example seems fine. But note that the word is usually reserved for medical issues.
