Change the time (verb tense) in the following sentence;
replace any time clue words as necessary.
I am on my way to a party for my sister’s
birthday. I have to drive across town, so I am allowing myself forty minutes
for that, but I hear on the radio that there is an accident on the freeway that
may delay me. I have my cell phone with me, so I can phone to tell her about
the situation.
Note that
there is more than one way to do this,
and each student should choose a different time frame with different time
clues.

SALEHA: A good choice to use modals, but do change that one verb that is in the simple present tense;-)
