When the grads celebrated their graduation, they were painting the town red. He had been committing a number of break ins before he was caught red-handed and arrested. His controversial comment was like a red rag to a bull.

ZEINAB:A good use of the idiom, but note the adjective error. Also, when you hyphenate something, don't leave spaces on either side of the hyphen;-)
