*ACTIVE vs. PASSIVE*

Write two sentences using the verb eat.

In the first sentence, use the word in the active voice; in the second sentence, use it in the passive voice.

Active= Jason eats eggs for breakfast every day.
Passive= The boys will have eaten the cake by the time we get home.

Good try, Leah. But both of your sentences are in the active voice. You have just changed the verb tense.

Here is an example of a passive voice:

Eggs are eaten for breakfast every day.
