This blog is for students taking English 140-189 at Athabasca University.
1) Henry used his right arm to fling the dart towards the dart board.2) The dart was flung by Henry.Submitted by Brad, English140. July 12.
You formed the passive construction correctly in the second sentence. But the infinitive ("to fling") is not actually a verb, so your first sentence is technically not correct. Perhaps you could say something like "Henry flung the dart towards the dartboard with his right hand."
