This blog is for students taking English 140-189 at Athabasca University.
1. Fearing the worst, we are already one-third of the way through the year. 2. When we are just starting to work on our courses, we are already one-third of the way through the year. 3.We are already one-third of the way through the year and we are organizing the banquet.
Good try, Audrey. The grammar is correct in all three sentences. But, to be honest, I'm not entirely sure what you are trying to convey in any of them, so you might want to think about clarity.
