*SENTENCE COMBINATION*

Learning to combine ideas into more complex sentences is an important writing skill. There are many ways to do this. Try to combine the following three sentences.
Sentence 1: The shopping malls are now getting ready for Valentine’s Day.
Sentence 2: The Christmas decorations are finally being taken down.
Sentence 3: No sooner is one festival and its promotions over than the next one is coming.

A good effort, Andrea. But I struggle a little with the logic of your conjunction.

I would recommend something like:

No sooner is one festival and its promotions over than the next one is coming: the Christmas decorations are finally being taken down, and the shopping malls are now getting ready for Valentine’s Day.
