Change the time (verb tense) in the following sentence; replace any time
clue words as necessary.
My parents will arrive for a visit tomorrow; I am concerned that they could
feel crowded in my small apartment and wish that they had gone to a hotel
instead. They will have to sleep on a futon in the living room, and we will all
have to share the one bathroom.
Each student should use a different time frame (tenses) and time clue words.

My parents have arrived for a visit today; I am concerned that they are feeling crowded in my small apartment, and wish that they could go to a hotel instead. They will be sleeping on a futon in the living room, and we are all sharing the one bathroom
KENNETH: You have done a good job with this:-)
PEGGY: OK--this works despite the fact that you've used several time frames.
My parents had arrived for a visit last weekend; I was concerned that they would have felt crowded in my small apartment and wished that they had gone to a hotel instead. They had slept on a futon in the living room, and we all had to share one bathroom.
VALERIE: Yes, but the idea is to put all of this into just one sentence;-)
