*VOCABULARY*

Vocabulary building is important for both reading comprehension and writing. 

Use the following two words in one sentence (note the part of speech).

complement (verb)  +  substantive (adjective)

But note the difference between "complement" -- which means "to add to" or "make complete" -- and "compliment" -- which means "to praise."
