For many years to come, we will celebrate Pancake Days and cook a lot of traditional pancakes because we think the homemade ones will taste better than the ones that will be served in restaurants. Tradition also will call for using lemon juice and sugar on top of the pancakes. The idea will be to use up lots of good, rich ingredients before the fast for Lent will start the next day.
