Bob Dylan is an American musician who was recently awarded the Nobel prize for Literature, as he is one of the most famous singer-songwriters in the world.
The American musician Bob Dylan is one of the most famous singer-songwriters in the world, and has recently been awarded the Nobel prize for Literature.
Good try!
But I don't think Dylan was awarded the prize "as he is...famous". And I don't think the idea is that he is famous "and" has been awarded the prize. This seems more accurate to me:
American musician Bob Dylan, one of the most famous singer-songwriters in the world, was recently awarded the Nobel prize for Literature.
