*SENTENCE COMBINATION*
Learning to combine ideas into more complex sentences is an important writing skill. There are many ways to do this. Try to combine the following three sentences. Do not use a semi-colon.
Sentence 1: The weather is cold.
Sentence 2: This weather will continue for a while. Sentence 3: Soon, it will be spring.
3 comments:
The weather is cold, and this weather will continue for a while, yet soon, it will be spring.

Good try. But don't be afraid to omit repetitions (like "weather"). Here is an example:
The cold weather will continue for a while, but soon it will be spring.
Thanks for the feedback, it helps me a lot!
