*ACTIVE vs. PASSIVE*

Write two sentences using the verb bear.

In the first sentence, use the word in the active voice; in the second sentence, use it in the passive voice.

Verb bear:

Active voice: Her mother bore him in Brazil.

Passive voice: He was born in Brazil.

Active= My father cannot bear to have cats inside the house.
Passive= The boy was bore by his mother.

Leah, the past participle of "bear" is "borne" (or "born").

Here is a possibility:

I cannot bear the humidity.
The humidity cannot be borne.
